The itinerary is as follows:

Day 1 – Saturday, July 11: Leave for Las Vegas

• From Shanghai(PVG) to Las Vegas(LAS)

Day 2 – Sunday, July 12: Arrival Day

• Pick up from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport
• Welcome event at SUU for students and Host Families
• Go home with Host Families, experience typical American family life

Day 3 – Monday, July 13: Introduction to American family life and traditions

• Introductions of SUU, ESL Program and campus tour
• ESL language Learning
• Introduction to American family life and traditions, Homestay family questionnaire
• Meet Cedar City mayor
• Tour of historic main street – shopping, etc.
• Return to homestay

 Day 4 – Tuesday, July 14: Introduction to American education system

• Introduction to American education system
• ESL language Learning
• Meet local business owners
• Movie
• Teambuilding
• Return to homestay

 Day 5–Wednesday, July 15: Introduction to American business practices

• Discussion of American business practices
• ESL language Learning
• Develop business proposals
• Develop and present business proposals

• Return to homestay

Day 6 –Thursday, July 16: Introduction to the history and geography of the American West

 Day 7 –Friday, July 17: Day trip to St. George
